Current Practice
Tim Concannon is a skilled solicitor advocate specialising in litigation and dispute resolution. Tim regularly appears in interlocutory matters in the District and Supreme Courts.
Professional Experience
After being admitted to practice in 1989, Tim Concannon had four and a half years experience practising with a large country law firm in the areas of Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Since joining Carroll & O'Dea in 1994 Tim has consolidated his specialised knowledge and has obtained accreditation as a specialist in personal injury law by the Law Society of New South Wales. His combined experience in acting for both plaintiffs / applicants and defendants / respondents enables him to bring a balanced and extremely practical approach to his clients' matters. By virtue of his expertise Tim has been asked to present numerous seminars to groups of other legal professionals.
Tim has been a CARS Assessor since 2004.The Claims Assessment & Resolution Service (CARS) is a division of the Motor Accident Authority, which deals with disputes concerning motor vehicle issues. A CARS Assessor is ordinarily the person who determines these disputes.
Tim has also been a member of the Injury Compensation Committee of the Law Society since 2008.
Professional Background
Tim has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Macquarie University. He is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Tim joined Carroll & O'Dea in 1994 and became a partner in 2001.
