Our Quality Accreditation

Carroll & O'Dea is committed to a best practice approach to our services and a philosophy of
continuous improvement. Our dedication to providing excellence in legal services is manifested
through our progressive history of achievements.

Carroll & O'Dea was an early member of the Quality in Law Program (QL). Tony Carroll comments

"QL has many benefits including improved delivery of service to clients and much improved and continued

In 1999 our centenary year, Carroll & O'Dea was awarded Best Practice accreditation- QL II by the
Law Society of New South Wales, the first law firm in Sydney to be so accredited.

In November 2001Carroll and O'Dea received the National QL Award for Outstanding Contribution
and Innovation to Human Resources within a Legal Firm.

In 2002 Carroll & O'Dea was awarded certification for Best Practice Excellence QL Level IV, then the
pinnacle award under the QL Code and the peak management standard for the legal profession.

In 2005 the firm achieved accreditation to an ISO standard LAW9000, again being one of the first
firms to achieve this accreditation.

Our Employment and Industrial Law group is headed by Partner, Peter Punch and has been recognised by the
publication Legal Profiles as being a leading practice group in the area of Employment and Industrial Law.
