Adelaide has a significant legal practice and predominately assists clients, be they individuals or institutions or corporations, in estate and succession planning and property transactions.

She is experienced in providing advice across a wide range of matters such as applications to the Supreme Court of New South Wales for grant of probate or letters of administration or reseals, administering complex estates, powers of attorney, appointment of enduring guardian, superannuation, trust matters, asset protection, structuring, residential conveyancing and other general advice.

She has extensive experience including in litigated and unlitigated disputes vis-à-vis wills and family provision claims. She regularly instructs Junior or Senior Counsels (when required) in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in litigated matters and is an experienced and enthusiastic user of alternative dispute resolution mechanism (when appropriate) to resolve dispute.

Adelaide provides pro bono services to a religious charity, whose purpose is to provide services for the poor and disadvantaged people, by administering deceased estates, particularly where a person has died without a will and does not have a family member to assist to administer their estate.

Adelaide hears through cochlear implants; she follows closely the issue of disability in the workplace, staying in touch with how other deaf or hard-of-hearing lawyers or professionals are going in their career and how they advocate for equal opportunity and social justice.

“We work with clients at some of the most stressful times in their lives. So we see it as an achievement when we are able to guide a client through the legal process from the start to finish in a way that is most practical, time-efficient and cost-effective.”
