Yee Mei Chow

Yee Mei Chow practises in Immigration Law, including handling Australian Visa Applications, Skills Assessment, State Sponsorship, and Migration Review Applications. 

Yee Mei has extensive experience handling a wide range of immigration visas, both onshore and offshore, including skilled, family, religious, training and business migration.

She also represents clients in complex immigration reviews or appeals at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and higher courts.

Yee Mei is a member of the Migration Institute Australia. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Key Professional Achievements

• Yee Mei graduated from University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Laws.
• She was first admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2002 and to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2003.
• In 2004, Yee Mei was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and became a registered immigration agent in 2006.
• Yee Mei joined Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in April 2013. 
• In 2017, Yee Mei obtained a Masters of Law (LLM) from University of Sydney.
• She became a SA Adelaide Language Centre (ELSPM) Board Member in 2019.
• Yee Mei was made Senior Associate at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in 2022.
