Newcastle to get new $94 million dollar court house – across the road from Carroll & O’Dea

Due to open in 2014 Newcastle’s new 7 storey multi-million dollar court house will set a new benchmark for justice facilities in one of Australia’s busiest court precincts.
The new complex will have 10 courts and 2 tribunals and will cater to Newcastle’s growing needs.
There has been some criticism that the complex will not have enough parking spaces available, but overall it will be a welcome replacement for the 120 year old facility currently in use.
Our Newcastle office is available for Agency work in the Local Court at Newcastle in its civil and criminal jurisdictions and the District Court at Newcastle in its civil and criminal jurisdiction. .
