Current Practice
Paul Carroll has extensive experience in Property Law, in particular in the areas of retail and commercial
leasing and administration. Paul acts for a vast array of clients in the commercial, residential, industrial
and rural sectors including large retail and commercial shopping centres. Paul also practises in the areas
of environmental law & planning and business services.
Professional Experience
Paul has twenty-one years experience in Property Law. He is accredited as a specialist in property law
by the Law Society of NSW. Acting for both landlords and tenants in multiple shopping centres across
New South Wales, Paul has acquired a depth of experience in drafting, and in the interpretation, negotiation
and mediation of leases and tenancy disputes. Paul acted in the leasing and sale of Greenwood Plaza and
the Optus Building in North Sydney. He heads the Carroll & O'Dea team that acts for Lend Lease,
General Property Trust and Mirvac Property Group in the leasing of their shopping centres across New
South Wales.
Professional Background
Paul has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney. He was admitted
to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1986. He was accredited as a specialist in Property Law by the
Law Society of NSW in 2003. Paul joined the firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1992. |
