Compensation Law
Current Practice
Michael
is one of five Special Counsel of the firm and is regularly engaged to
offer technical advice in complex and difficult matters. He was a
partner of the firm till 2002. Upon his formal retirement as a
partner, the firm retained his services as Special Counsel in
compensation law. Michael is still actively involved in the firm's
caseload. Professional Experience
Michael
has over 40 years experience practising as a compensation lawyer and
when he was in full time practice, he gained the reputation as one of
the most respected and technically competent lawyers in this field.
He
served on the NSW Law Society Personal Injury Committee for over 30
years. He was the sole representative for solicitors on the rules
Committee of the Compensation Court of NSW until its abolition in 2002.
Professional Background
Michael
has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law and was an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law with the NSW Law Society. |
