Compensation Law , Employment and Industrial Relations Law Current Practice
Tessa has developed a legal practice in both Compensation
Law and Employment/Industrial Relations Law. There is a synergy
between these two areas of law as both are linked with the rights of
employees in the workplace. She has had the benefit of acting for
and advising both employers and employees in relation to
compensation and employment matters. She has appeared in numerous
jurisdictions for her clients, in particular the Workers
Compensation Commission and the Industrial Relations Commission.
Legacy of working in these areas of law, Tessa has developed
expertise in occupational health and safety matters, unfair and
unlawful terminations, contracts reviews and as well as the numerous
areas of Compensation Law. Professional Background Tessa
has an Arts degree from UNSW and her law degree is from University of
Technology, Sydney . She was admitted to the legal profession in 2007
and has been with Carroll and O'Dea since 2006. |
