Current Practice
Hanaan Indari is a partner of Carroll & O'Dea, specialising in
litigation and dispute resolution in Compensation Law. Hanaan's
expertise includes acting in negligence claims, litigation, insurance
disputes, professional indemnity claims, Family Provision Act and
commercial litigation.
Professional Experience
Since joining Carroll & O'Dea in June 1997, Hanaan has had extensive experience acting for plaintiffs
and applicants, and has conducted many high profile cases. Hanaan is extremely well regarded by her
clients and peers as a professional who shows great empathy for her clients and a keen understanding
of the issues clients face. Hanaan is an experienced advocate who appears regularly in interlocutory
matters in the Commissions, the District Court and Supreme Court.
Hanaan is a NSW Branch committee member of Australian Lawyers Alliance (a nationwide association of lawyers
which advocates for the needs of plaintiffs and claimants).
She is also a Board Member of Santa Sabina College, being Chair of
their Risk Management Committee for the Board, a Member of Stewardship Committee for St Joseph's Maronite Church and Member of Islamic
Christian Friendship Society. Professional Qualifications
Hanaan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor
of Laws degree from the University of Technology. She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of
New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Hanaan joined Carroll & O'Dea in 1997 and became a
Partner in 2003. |
