Current Practice
Adrian practices in the areas of litigation and business services, assisting clients in a broad range
of matters including advice on contracts, commercial matters and litigation (in the Federal, Supreme,
District and Local Courts, as well as Industrial Court and Administrative Tribunals) and Occupational
Health and Safety prosecutions.
Professional Experience
Adrian was admitted to practice in February 1997. Prior to joining Carroll and O'Dea, Adrian was employed
by the NSW Ombudsman, and in Ireland, for the law firm McCann Fitzgerald, Dublin within their Litigation
group. During 1998 - 2000 he worked in London where he was employed as an in-house Solicitor by London
Electricity Pty Ltd. Adrian gained broad commercial experience and particular experience in drafting
contracts and in employment law and industrial relations whilst working in the United Kingdom. In relation
to Occupational Health & Safety Adrian has acted on behalf of both the prosecution and the defence.
During 2003 Adrian spent a period on secondment to WorkCover's Prosecution Branch.
Adrian serves on a number of community organisations, including:
- Member of the Executive Board of Charingfield Ltd, a Not for Profit aged care facility
- Member of the Advisory Board of The Little Sisters of the Poor
Professional Experience
Adrian has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Laws from the
University of Wollongong. Adrian was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales
in 1997. Adrian joined Carroll & O'Dea in 2000 and became a Partner in 2004. |
