Topic: Total and permanent disability insurance: the cover insurers’ don’t like to advertise

Through their superannuation policy, many Australians hold an insurance that they are often unaware exists, total and permanent disability (TPD) insurance. This seminar will provide a general overview of TPD insurance and will discuss the common eligibility criteria and definitions that a person must satisfy in order to make a successful claim. It will also highlight some of the traps that can be contained within the fine print of the TPD policies, which may prevent a person from accessing their insurance cover.
