Dexter has a wealth of litigation experience in civil and criminal courts in this State, having held the position of Associate to his Honour Judge G.W. Neilson of the District Court and as an employed solicitor.
Dexter’s special area of expertise and interest is in criminal law. Having completed a Master’s degree in this area, Dexter represents clients from all walks of life whether they have been charged with a driving offence, assault or a more serious charge.
His other area of expertise and experience is industrial law. Dexter provides timely and sound advice and representation to clients who have been terminated, require an employment contract reviewed or are NSW police officers who have received a complaint notice or a notice pursuant to s.173 or s.181D of the Police Act.
Dexter’s accrued professional experience as a solicitor also includes advising and appearing as an advocate for clients in multi-disciplinary areas of law including: coronial inquests, police compensation, workers’ compensation, victims’ compensation, commercial and consumer litigation as well as land and environment disputes.
