Jessica Cheo is part of the Carroll & O’Dea Lawyer’s Compensation team based in our Melbourne office. Jessica represents both plaintiffs and defendants and has extensive litigation experience, in particular, in workers compensation. She represents plaintiffs in a broad range of areas including workers compensation, public liability, medical negligence and total and permanent disability claims. Jessica enjoys researching novel issues and using her legal experience and knowledge to achieve beneficial outcomes for her clients.
Jessica is a graduate of Monash University and prior to joining Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers, acted primarily for defendants. This experience has enabled her to apply technical strategies to her client’s cases and foreshadow potential risks so the most optimal outcomes can be achieved in each and every case.

- Jessica joined Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in 2022;
- She graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2004. She also studied a graduate diploma in Workplace and Employment Law at Monash University from 2013 to 2017.
- Jessica was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in October 2005 and then admitted to practice in Victoria in 2006.
- She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Lawyers Alliance
