The Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior lawyer with 4 to 6 years’ PAE, to join our Personal Injury team in our Raymond Terrace office. The practice will predominantly focus on Plaintiff PI matters, such Motor Vehicle Accidents, Public Liability, and Workers Compensation claims.

You will enjoy significant client contact, ownership of matters, and the support of a collaborative and experienced team within a firm that genuinely values work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Directly liaising with clients and providing clear, timely and practical advice
  • Managing a high‑volume caseload from start to resolution
  • Preparing court documents, orders and general correspondence
  • Attending court, mediations, dispute resolution conferences and settlements
  • Conducting targeted legal research to support litigation and advisory work
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networks

Successful candidates will have:

  • A current NSW Practising Certificate (essential)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience practising in Personal Injury and/or Litigation (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of PI matters and applicable processes
  • Excellent negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
  • A client‑focused approach and strong relationship‑building skills
  • Professional discretion and sensitivity when handling client matters
