Dee’s expertise over 25+ years in advertising has contributed to her success as an award-winning Creative Director. Using creativity as a tool to persuade audiences and create effective messages which are based on brand truths, Dee knows how to create integrated campaigns across various advertising outlets.
About the speaker
Dee is the ECD and a founding partner of Campaign Edge. She is an award winning creative who has worked on some of Australia’s largest brands in almost every category including FMCG, banking and finance, health and education, and more recently law firms.
She is one of Australia’s leading campaign strategists and effectively uses creativity as a tool to persuade an audience. She has been Creative Director on over 14 election campaign wins, including Queensland in 2015, 2017 and 2020 as well as the 2022 Federal Election.
Dee is a regular panellist on Gruen and The Drum (ABC) and appears on The Latest and Sunrise (Channel 7). She is also the author of The Hard Sell (MUP 2014), as well as a contributing author on Mothermorphosis (MUP 2015), Perspectives on Change (ANU 2015) and Unbreakable (UQP 2017).
She is on the board of Per Capita and Australians for Mental Health.
Her attention to detail is woeful. She can’t remember faces. And she has the attention span of a 3 year old.
But apart from that, she’s quite good at what she does.
