Abbey O’Brien

Abbey O’Brien is a member of the Personal Injury team in Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Newcastle office.

Abbey joined the firm in 2023 and works on various compensation matters, including workers compensation and motor vehicle accident matters. She is passionate about helping injured workers access their entitlements in what can be an emotionally challenging time for them and their families.

• Abbey joined Carroll & O’Dea in 2023 as a member of the Personal Injury law team
• Abbey started her career in law in 2020 and has experience in a wide range of areas such as Family Law and Wills and Estates Law
• Abbey was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2023
• Abbey graduated in 2021 from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Psychological Studies. She graduated in 2022 from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/ Diploma of Legal Practice receiving a grading of Honours Class II Division 2.
• Member of the Law Society of New South Wales Women Lawyers’ Association of New South Wales, Newcastle Law Society and the Hunter Valley Law Society.
