Her experience spans a broad range of legal issues, including personal injury, compensation, and matters arising in both private practice and the local government sector. This diverse background has given Kate a well-rounded perspective and the ability to approach cases with insight, sensitivity and precision.
Kate has developed particular expertise in serious motor vehicle accidents claims, where she has helped individuals and families navigate the legal process and rebuild after the trauma of life-changing events. - Kate completed a Combined Laws Degree at the University of Newcastle in 2010, achieving a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Money and Banking and Bachelor of Laws.
- Kate completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and she was admitted to the legal profession in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011.
- Began her career with Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in January 2010, gaining broad experience in compensation law before taking on a defendant role in motor accident litigation in 2017.
- Brought her expertise to the local government sector, further broadening her understanding of complex legal frameworks.
- Rejoined Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in January 2020, reaffirming her commitment to plaintiff-focused compensation work.
