Katherine Evans

Katherine is an experienced lawyer committed to delivering the highest level of client care and achieving practical, cost-effective solutions for clients based in our Sydney office. She is recognised for her attention to detail, analytical ability and listening skills, all of which allow her to identify her clients’ needs and work towards achieving their goals.

Approachable and adept at balancing credibility with empathy, Katherine guides her clients through their individual circumstances, matching their objectives to the agreed legal strategy. As an experienced Senior Associate, Katherine focuses on wills and estate planning alongside her specialisation in family and relationships law.

In pre-litigation matters, Katherine’s first choice is a less adversarial approach, and she will aim to resolve disputes through negotiation and mediation. Equally, when a decision by a Judge is required, Katherine is highly experienced in litigation and advocates for her clients in contested disputes.

• Katherine was admitted as a Solicitor in 2016.
• Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts-Media with a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University. She has completed a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law.
• Katherine is trained in Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice, a dispute resolution process available in Wills and Estate matters and Family Law matters.
• Katherine has previously worked in several Sydney CBD based firms and a national firm.
• Katherine joined Carroll & O’Dea in May 2026 where she is a Senior Associate in the Personal Law services area.
