Martin has extensive legal experience in the area of personal injury law, having spent five years representing injured clients in personal injury matters and over one year in a role which involved acting for insurers in workers compensation matters.
Returning to Plaintiff practice with Carroll and O’Dea Lawyers in 2016, Martin brings to the firm significant experience and a valuable perspective, having worked on both sides of personal injury litigation. Martin is motivated to assist clients and obtain the best possible legal remedy.
Community involvement is a key part of Martin’s life and Martin is very active in the Illawarra’s football community.

Key Professional Achievements
- Martin has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) at the University of Wollongong.
- During his studies Martin was awarded the NSW Bar Association Prize for first placing in Evidence Law.
- Martin was admitted into legal practice in 2010 and has been practicing in personal injury litigation since this time.
- In 2016 Martin was a NSW State Finalist in the Ron Shorter Memorial Award for Excellence in Public Speaking.
