Maryam Dehsabzi is a dedicated member of Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Compensation Law team and is based in the firms Sydney office.
Maryam has over 10 years’ extensive experience in a wide range of legal areas including historical sexual abuse claims, medical negligence, complex CTP claims, public and product liability claims; occupiers’ liability, insurance law and dispute resolution.
Since being admitted in 2014, Maryam has conducted litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants in a range of jurisdictions including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, District Court, Local Courts and Land and Environment Court.
She provides advice on a wide range of disputes and has acted for various government bodies and insurers.
Maryam is an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer, who graduated from Macquarie University with a demonstrated history of working in the legal industry.
Along with her degree in Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources), she brings with her a vast array of knowledge and legal capabilities to Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers, having years of experience within other national firms.
Maryam speaks fluently in 5 languages which allows her to further assist non-English speaking clients from Middle Eastern and Asian backgrounds. She speaks fluently in Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Hindi and Urdu.
