Olivia’s early professional work in journalism and public relations has set the foundation for her legal practice, which is focused on practical, cost effective strategies that are communicated clearly and effectively, which bring outstanding results for her clients.

A highly skilled litigator, she has wide ranging experience in numerous areas of law, including administrative law, costs assessment, insurance law, coronial inquiries and criminal law.

Olivia practices in both New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and has in-depth knowledge of the applicable statutes in both jurisdictions.

She has prosecuted cases in the Federal Court of Australia, the NSW Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and District Court of NSW and the Supreme Court and Magistrates Court of the ACT.

She is briefed by individuals, government departments and a state based insurer. As such, she is able to take a practical and commercial approach to each dispute having acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Olivia strives to build good relationships both with her clients and the community at large. She currently serves as Chairperson at Maggie’s Rescue and is involved in the Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers pro-bono scheme by providing mentoring to students at Notre Dame University and indigenous youth from the inner west and undertaking pro bono work for Arts Law.
