I am writing this review because I am extremely happy and satisfied with your service and highly recommend your firm because of your compassion to those who really need it.

I first approached Mr Scott Dougall (my Lawyer/ Solicitor) in 2011 after being highly recommended by a friend of the family. 

I have a neck and shoulder injury due to repetitive use because of my job role as a disability carer and executive assistant for a very prominent government employer. It is now permanent. I had major issues of being rejected and discriminated at work because of my workplace injury and then been told that I longer had a job and the fact that they were going to stop my workers compensation payments.

Luckily on my part, I had provided evidence to Mr Scott Dougall, prior to my rejection of receiving a letter/ confirmation and being told by my wonderful rehab person about not receiving any further compensation. This was extremely upsetting news and stressful for me and family.

This legal matter took months. In the meantime, Scott sent me to other medical practitioners and experts in the field and the results were that they proved that my matter had to be reviewed by the very insurance company who were trying to get away with not compensating me. It didn’t take long for the insurance company to admit their mistake and reimburse me for the few months that the payments were stopped.

I was then able to claim workers compensation payment with the help of Scott and other team members from his office. I also had the privilege of Ms Linda Yip who graciously assisted with the case and I am very thankful for her knowledge, patience and help.

Next was the total disablement procedure, I saw the insurance doctors and experts and even then, they tried to deny me of my total permanent disablement claim. Mr Scott Dougall again proved them wrong. I was awarded a certain percentage to meet the criteria only after having to fight for the report and prove that I had more injuries than the other party indicated.

This procedure went to another level that I believe was my last resort. Because I won the compensation claim (with the experts help, Scott Dougall), I was then eligible to claim for my Total Permanent Disability insurance which was under my Superannuation Fund contract.

Eventually an agreement by the Superannuation Fund and my Solicitor was reached and I was extremely grateful for that it has made my life, my husbands and three children thankful for the way my matter was resolved.

To any future client and prospective clients please understand the procedure from processing to hoping you get the best result for you and loved ones. If you have any proof provide this and have patience because it will only make it easier for you and your representative.

Do the best you can to overcome your situation. Live day by day and hopefully a cure or miracle will come by our way. This firm will endeavour to do the best for you even it’s a little or a lot. Have faith in yourself because I did.

I am a total believer of equality and fairness and respect especially, when you know that you have been mistreated and hard done by others, and your injury / health matters are not heard by your workplace or colleagues.

I will again echo/reiterate my opinion of this firm, give them a go because they are worth it trust me, I am genuinely writing this feedback because I am passionate for justice for people like me.

When I first met Scott I felt completely relaxed. He just has an aura around him.

He has an honest way to make people to feel that way. Scott is so easy to talk to, so easy to understand, so easy to listen to.
