About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a an experienced and motivated Lawyer with a minimum of 4-8years relevant post qualification experience to take on an established role in our specialised wills, estate planning and estate administration team.

Experience in complex estate planning and estate administration is essential for this role. Experience with estate disputes is not essential but desired.

In this role, you will be supported by an experienced and engaged team. The wills, estate planning and estate administration team sits within a broader team which includes property, commercial and charity law practitioners, headed by two Partners. Also supporting the clients of the wills, estate planning and estate administration team are experienced and capable litigation and family law teams.

Your success will be measured by:

  • to think strategically and solve complex problems
  • to provide clients with clear, comprehensive, accurate, practical and timely advice
  • to manage a diverse caseload and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality legal services

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4-18+ years’ post-qualification experience in estate planning, wills and estate administration law including the drafting of and advising on Wills, testamentary trusts, POAs, EGAs, probate applications and applications for letters of administration coupled with a sound understanding of their trust and tax law implications
  • The ability to give clear, sound, accurate, sensible and practical advice
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and demonstrated business development skills
