The Opportunity:
We seek a proactive candidate to join our Personal Injury law team at our Hobart Office. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for personal injury, and who is interested in developing their career at our fast-growing Hobart practice. You will work closely with our Hobart Partner across medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents, workers compensation, public liability, and institutional/historical abuse cases.

Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients and providing timely advice
- Preparing Court documents and correspondence
- Managing high volume files with supervision
- Attending court, TASCAT, dispute resolutions, and settlements
- Conducting legal research
Successful candidates:
- A valid practicing certificate
- Understanding of personal injury matters (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and autonomy
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client relationship and business development skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
