The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Family Law team in the Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone with prior legal administrative experience who is eager to continue developing their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level secretarial and administrative support
- Drafting and formatting correspondence and legal documents
- Direct liaison with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
- Diary and calendar management
- Organising meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Assisting with the preparation of court documents and correspondence
- File and document management, including opening and closing files
- General administrative assistance for the legal team
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior experience in family law (preferred)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, confident and compassionate phone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with iManage and Aderant (preferred)
