Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers is a mid-tier law firm providing legal services for clients in the areas of Compensation, Personal Services, Community & Associations and Business. We specialise in litigation, advisory and transaction work across a broad range of areas of practice.
This role is part of our Marketing team, located in Sydney CBD. Additionally, our firm has offices located in Parramatta, Campbelltown, Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Hobart, Wollongong and Melbourne.

About the role
The Marketing Lead is a key role within our firm. You will work closely with the General Manager, Partners and Practice Groups to lead the firm’s digital marketing strategy. This includes high-level strategic thinking, content creation and managing the day-to-day execution of digital campaigns and brand initiatives.
You will be responsible for overseeing brand consistency and ensuring compliance with industry standards, analysing campaign performance and providing actionable insights to stakeholders, coordinating new publications and managing the filing of drafts and final versions and leading the firm’s social media presence. The role also involves producing and executing content across all digital platforms, media outlets and the firm’s websites. As a central figure in our marketing function, you will play a key role in shaping how the firm communicates and engages with its audiences.

Experience and capabilities
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within professional services or B2B
- Strong background in marketing strategy, content creation and digital marketing
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Legal/Professional Services industry (preferred, although not essential)
- Flexible and proactive desire to accept miscellaneous tasks as they arise
- General Graphic design skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva
- Must work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
