Dr Duncan Graham will discuss his recent book “Where the Dust Settles”, which is a fictional account of the asbestos industry in Australia.

About the speaker
Dr Duncan Graham
Dr Duncan Graham is a writer, senior counsel at the New South Wales Bar and medical doctor. He is the co-author of Why Patients Sue Doctors (Elsevier, now in its second edition). Duncan has a reputation for taking on challenging cases, often involving complex scientific evidence.
For well over a decade, Duncan acted almost exclusively in cases involving men and women suffering from asbestos-related diseases. He has litigated numerous test cases for defendants, cross-examined many men and women dying from mesothelioma, and read thousands of medical articles on the subject.
He was also responsible for developing legal strategies, especially in the handling of scientific evidence, to address the asbestos diseases epidemic. Duncan’s knowledge of the history of the asbestos industry, the medical issues concerning asbestos, the role of governments and big business over the years, and the key issues in asbestos litigation is unparalleled.
