In the lead up to International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Lucy Stanbury, Project Coordinator of Banksia Women will provide an overview of the not-for-profit organisation established by St John’s Community Services. Lucy will be introduced by Sarah Malcolm, Manager of Banksia Women.
About the speakers
Sarah Malcolm
Sarah runs the Banksia Women program, and comes with a wealth of experience in both the corporate and charitable sector.
With expertise in and a commitment to trauma-informed care, she has considerable skills including relationship management and program development.
Sarah is committed to improving health and social outcomes for women who have experienced domestic and family violence or abuse by delivering trauma-informed, high quality, purpose-lead programs and long term support.
Lucy Stanbury
Lucy Stanbury is the Project Coordinator of Banksia Women. She assists with the running of Banksia Women and all the programs, in particular the weekly Connect Group. Lucy works closely with partners such as community organisations and charities to ensure the successful execution of the Banksia Women program.
Lucy is a passionate advocate for women and trauma-informed care, and approaches Banksia Women with warmth and enthusiasm.
