Courtney is a valued member of the Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers team, working across our employment and compensation law practices with a particular focus on work injuries. She primarily acts on behalf of injured workers and employees and complements that experience advising registered organisations and independent schools on employment law issues.
Having clerked at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers throughout her university studies, Courtney has extensive experience in both workers compensation claims and employment law disputes, including preparing and running matters in the Personal Injury Commission, the District and Supreme Courts of NSW, the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, the Fair Work Commission and in the Federal Circuit Court.
Courtney appreciates the stress that compensation claims or employment disputes can cause her clients and works empathetically and creatively to find the best solution for their individual circumstances. She prides herself on her ability to grasp complex factual scenarios and their interaction with relevant legal frameworks with nuance.
