Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers announce seventeen new appointments for 2023

Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers today announced new appointments effective 1st July 2023 with seventeen (17) promotions across the Firm.
“Renewal and regeneration has been the key to our ongoing success over more than 124 years and these new appointments bring with them a depth of skill that will support the firm well into the future”, said Managing Partner, Hanaan Indari.
“Our ongoing investment in our people reflects the Firm’s commitment to diversity and I am very proud that twelve (12) of the appointments, or nearly three quarters of this year’s promotions, are women. This is an important step towards meeting our target of a 40:20:20 gender balance in the Firm’s leadership by 1 July 2028.
“These new appointments I am announcing today have all demonstrated excellence in their support of our clients as well as a high level of skill, and we are very proud of each and every one of them.
“By encouraging our talent we are continuing to build a strong team and workplace culture that will reinvigorate the Firm through our 125th anniversary next year and beyond.
“On behalf of the Firm I would like to congratulate the lawyers being promoted this July for their contributions to Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers over the years as well as their individual achievements.
“I want to make special acknowledgement of Hayley Aldrich who has become Partner, for her work on behalf of members of the Stolen Generations and First Nations people which has been widely recognised across the legal community and through industry awards.
“Our people are our greatest asset and these talented practitioners reflect the depth of skill and expertise of our entire team”, said Ms Indari.
