We Speak Your Language

Australia in the 21st century is a culturally diverse country with almost a quarter of all Australians having been born overseas. Over four million Australians speak a language other than English and over 260 languages are spoken in our country.
However, the complexities of our legal system can be difficult to navigate for even the most proficient English speakers. At Carroll & O’Dea we have an increasing number of multilingual staff to assist our clients. At last count our staff were fluent in 23 different languages which is something we are proud of.
March 21 is Harmony Day. A day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world. We thought this day would be an appropriate one to release our new clip “Speaking Your Language”.
