About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Licensed Conveyancer to join our Property team. Based in our Raymond Terrace office, this full-time role will involve managing a variety of residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish.
Working closely with clients and stakeholders, this role is suited to candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive and passionate about delivering high-quality conveyancing services in a supportive and professional environment.
Experience and capabilities:
- Manage residential and commercial property transactions end-to-end
- Prepare and review contracts, transfer documents and settlement statements
- Liaise with clients, agents, banks and other stakeholders to ensure smooth settlements
- Conduct property searches and due diligence checks
- Advise clients on legal obligations and rights related to property transfers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards
- Use conveyancing software and maintain accurate records
- Resolve issues or delays proactively and professionally
Successful candidates will have:
- A current Conveyancer’s Licence
- Proven experience in property transactions (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong understanding of conveyancing legislation and procedures
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office suite
