About the speaker:
Margaret Pomeranz AM is a writer/producer working in television. She co-hosted The Movie Show on SBS and At The Movies on ABC with David Stratton for 28 years. She has been an outspoken campaigner against censorship as President and Vice-President of Watch on Censorship. Her passion for Australian films led to her appointment as the Ambassador for the National Film and Sound Archive. She is currently presenting movies and reviews on Foxtel, and is also part of a Committee working towards a cinemateque in Sydney.
